Opportunities to Serve in KidMin
Provide a warm, friendly first impression to new families as they arrive and assist/answer questions they may have.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Check-in families using CCB software.
- Assist with self-check-in stations as needed.
- Welcome visitors, answer questions, and address concerns.
- Escort visiting children to their classroom and introduce the child to the ministry staff in charge.
- Assist first-time visitors in completing the required forms.
Serving Time Options:
- Sundays, Every Other Month | 9:00-9:50 AM & 10:15-11:10 AM
- Wednesdays | 6:10-7:10 PM
Meet the needs of children with special needs, creating a caring environment to teach and show them God's love during regular programming.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Provide a regular presence for your assigned child.
- Help the child transition between activities.
- Attend to the child in an individual manner, sometimes outside regular programming (as needed). For example, walking with them during loud worship or doing a quiet activity during lesson time.
Serving Time Options:
- Sundays, Every Other Month | 9:15-10:30 AM or 10:45 AM-12:00 PM
- Wednesdays | 6:30-8:00 PM
Additional Notes:
Experience with special needs children is not required but very helpful. Training will be provided.
On occasion, a substitute is needed to assume the responsibilities for a regular volunteer.

Basic Responsibilities:
- Supervise volunteers and children.
- Take attendance.

- Make children feel valued and loved.
- Check diapers and change if necessary.

Provide a safe, fun learning environment that guides and involves early learners in Bible teaching.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Build trust and security with children and parents.
- Be available for all classroom situations.
- Teach the Bible story (lesson and supplies provided).
- Direct and manage the classroom schedule.
Serving Time Options:
- Sundays, Once or Twice a Month or Every Other Month (preferred) (August-July) | 7:45-9:15 AM, 9:15-10:45 AM, or 10:45 AM-12:15 PM
Build relationships with older preschoolers in a small group setting through instruction and conversation.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Explain the provided craft and assist as needed.
- Practice the memory verse.
- Review the Bible story.
- Supervise snack time.

- Choose songs to teach.
- Lead the classes in songs and motions.
- Teach early learners that praise is our gift to God.

Be a welcoming and friendly face for every child who walks through our doors as we attempt to bring children to the heart of Jesus.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Welcome children and help visitors feel comfortable in an unfamiliar space.
- Take attendance and complete check-out process for children.
- Monitor large group time.
- Help small groups locate supplies as needed.

Bring children to the heart of Jesus by leading high-energy worship and teaching kids about a heart of worship.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Choose and lead three worship songs with motions.
- Communicate song choices with the staff member in charge, and they'll make preparations.
Serving Time Options (August-May):
- Sundays, Every Other Month | 9:30-9:45 AM
- Sundays, Once or Twice a Month or Weekly | 11:00-11:30 AM
- Wednesdays | 6:45-7:15 PM

Play a key support role to the lead teacher and provide a welcoming, friendly first impression for kids.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Play with, talk with, and supervise kids during the transition from 2nd to 3rd hour.
- Assist in the classroom.
- Participate in worship and game time with the kids.
- Supervise and redirect kids when they get off track.
Serving Time Options:

Additional Notes:
Middle and high school students may serve in this role with a parent's permission.

- Become familiar with the week's provided small group lesson.
- Build a sense of belonging in small group by knowing students' personal stories.
- Pray with students in small group.
- Teach students how to use and navigate their Bibles.
- Build authentic and healthy relationships with students.

- Sundays, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, or Monthly | 9:15-10:30 AM
- Wednesdays | 6:30-8:00 PM
Additional Notes:
A background in education is helpful but not required.
Provide a cheerful and comforting presence to children, visitors, and volunteer leaders as they enter the classroom.

- Reconcile the small group and printed attendance sheets.
- Make sure every student coming in and leaving the room has a name tag.
- Assist in releasing children at dismissal.
