Tim Veenstra
Teaching Pastor
Tim Veenstra serves as one of NMC's Teaching Pastors as well as oversees Young Adult Ministry, Worship Ministry, Tech & Media, and co-leads our summer internship program (SOAR). Tim himself was a SOAR intern in the summer of 2011 before joining our staff in May 2012 as a Student Ministries Pastor (2012-2021).
Tim earned his bachelor's degree in Biblical Literature and Youth Ministry from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Master of Ministry from Bethel University. He loves unifying and empowering the Church to be rooted in Christ and His Kingdom-work through the teaching of His Word, practicing spiritual disciplines, and having a heart for the nations.
Tim and his wife Kelbi have two daughters, Charlotte and Caroline. In his free time, he loves to play volleyball, run, read, paint, and eat Mexican food.
