Terry Bley
Leadership Development Pastor
Terry Bley serves as NMC's Leadership Development Pastor to coach our ministry staff, oversee internship opportunities, and captain the Residency program. Terry's first ministry experience at NMC was as a SOAR summer intern in 1986. Before taking on his current role, he served as NMC's Student Ministries Pastor (1992-2005) and Life Development Pastor (2006-2016).
Terry earned his bachelor's degree in Bible and Christian Ministries from Vennard College and a Master of Ministry from Bethel University. Nothing lights him up more than helping people live out their God-given identity in Jesus, find a safe place to belong with emotional/spiritual support, discover their unique/personal mission, and live in the Holy Spirit’s power and anointing.
Terry and his wife Kelly have four grown children: Savannah (married to Ethan), Mikayla (married to Tyler), Dawson, Olivia (soon to be married to Chase), and one granddaughter, Finley (Savannah and Ethan). Terry loves to explore to new places, discover new restaurants, dig deep into nerdy biblical history, and get outside to bike or hike. He's an avid sports fan (particularly anything Nebraska and Notre Dame plus Major League Baseball) and enjoys watching movies, listening to music, and going to the theater.
