Frequently Asked Questions

We realize that a large church can be intimidating, so we want to answer some common questions that come when stepping through the doors. Whether you are just visiting or trying to get plugged in to the community, we hope you feel at home and part of the church family.

Common Questions

We would love to see you at one of our services.

In the Worship Center you will find a more traditional worship service, which occasionally includes a worship choir, along with a live speaker. Worship Center services are Sunday mornings at 8:00, 9:30, and 10:45.

In the Connection service you will experience a more contemporary worship style along with a video of the message from the Worship Center. Connection services take place in the Gym at 9:15 and 10:45 on Sunday mornings.

We recommend arriving about 10 minutes early to get a cup of coffee and find a seat. A free cup of coffee is available to all first-time guests at the coffee carts in the Grand Hall. If you have children to check in to our Kids Ministry, we suggest coming 20 minutes before the service.

There are marked visitor parking spots on the north side of the parking lot just outside entrance D. If you enter the parking lot from State Road 19, entrance D is to your right and you will see large banners that say, "Visitor's Entrance - Welcome." Entrance D will lead you straight to our Welcome Center, coffee carts, and KidMin Check-In.

If you decide to visit us, we recommend coming 20 minutes early to register your children (infant through 5th grade) at the KidMin Check-In which is just inside entrance D. The safety of our children is a high priority, so we will need child and guardian information at check-in. Our KidMin volunteers will show you and your children to their classrooms, where they will learn about God in fun and exciting ways. Parents, we encourage you to check out our facilities and see all we have to offer your children.

There is programming for middle school and high school students at 9:30 AM. There are individual classes for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders and high school students meet together in the Fieldhouse. Volunteers at the Welcome Center, just inside entrance D, can show your students to the appropriate rooms.

Our services run for 60-70 minutes and are always filled with great worship and a biblical message.

We hope you will feel comfortable and accepted however you're dressed. What you will generally see in the Worship Center are people wearing anything from jeans and a nice shirt to dresses and suit jackets while the Connection service is a bit more casual dress environment.

Within a Small Church, you will find a small community (ranging from 10 to 100+ individuals) that wants to get to know you. These groups share prayer requests, life moments, biblical teaching, and occasionally food all in a smaller, relational environment. Feel free to stop by the Welcome Center, just inside entrance D, for Small Church information, times, and recommendations. You can also view our list of current Small Churches (here). Joining a Small Church is simple - all you need to do is show up!
