Nappanee Missionary Church financially supports our college students enrolled at Bethel University, the denominational university of the Missionary Church.
Bethel University will match up to $500 per semester for resident students and $250 per semester for commuting students (for qualifying students). Scholarships may not exceed $1,000 per applicant per calendar year, available for four years and renewable each academic year by application.

Am I eligible to receive scholarship funds?
NMC limits the Bethel University Scholarship funds to the following individuals:
1. Those who meet the program qualifications set by Bethel University. For more information on the Bethel portion, click here and see the “Church Matching Scholarship” section.
2. Those who actively attend and have ministry involvement at NMC. You must attend NMC for at least one year before applying.
3. Full-time students (resident or non-resident).
How do I apply?
We're currently accepting scholarship applications for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Step 2
Complete and submit to NMC the Bethel University Church Matching application linked on the form. This is a separate form required by Bethel each academic year. You do NOT need to submit this form to Bethel.
Step 3
All documents are due Sunday, March 23, 2025. This deadline is critical for us to send the names and money to Bethel prior to their due date.
If your application is accepted by the committee and you meet the requirements listed above, NMC will send our portion of the scholarship to Bethel by August 1 of the academic year.
