Life In the Word (Bible Track): Truths in Deuteronomy

Professor Cami Brubaker from Bethel University will lead this discussion on one of the most foundational texts in the Bible. Deuteronomy communicates a powerful and dynamic message about the nature of God, the covenant, and holy living. Join this four-week elective as we dive into the culture and context of this book to hear with fresh insight the message Moses gives to the Israelites! In GH222 from 7-8 PM.

Marriage & Family Track: The HEART of Grandparenting

Led by experienced grandparents and NMC Pastors, this class will dive into the significant role grandparents have in the lives of the next generation. With biblical insight and real-life examples, we will examine the keys to being the best grandparent possible. In Courtyard Commons from 7-8 PM.

Discipleship Track

Join us as we meet as a community of believers desiring to grow and study God’s Word. Together we will read and engage in discussion of Scripture and prayer with the goal of growth and life change. We will take the year to go through the New Testament, and each meeting provides the opportunity to jump in even if you have not attended previously! Facilitated by James and Sherri Ellis and Charlene Brown in the Heritage Room from 7-8 PM.

Complete Theology: Where Did We Come From? The Theological Roots of NMC

Taught by Dr. Dennis Engbrecht, this series will focus on the theological underpinnings of Nappanee Missionary Church. Who are we and what are our origins? We will look at various theological streams that have flowed together to form the Missionary Church in the 21st century. In GH223 from 7-8 PM.

Divorce Care

Find godly help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce. This class lasts up to 13 weeks. Join Greg and Julie Baumgartner and a teaching team in C 180-181 from 6:45-8 PM.

Man Church (Formerly known as ESPMen)

Meeting together in small groups, we desire to experience characteristics of Jesus by seeing the heart of other brothers living out their faith and spurring one another on to lives that are fully committed to the cause of Jesus Christ. Our theme for this year is “words matter”.  We will look at words like “abide,” “works,” “send,” “trust,” and “fear”.  We will discover the biblical definition of each word by how it’s used in context. Come join this community of men committed to growth in Christ. Join Niel Diener at the Heritage Pavilion (or in the YMC Upper Level if it’s raining) from 7-8 PM.

Knit Together

Each week we gather for a devotional thought and a time of knitting. This group is led by Jean Hornish in GH 224-225 from 7-8 PM.

Oasis Cafe for Women

Join other women from NMC for worship, small group time, and a video study or speaker. This group is led by Dorie Clickovich and Dawn Ziegler in the Chapel from 7-8 PM.

Revelation Fitness

Jesus and fitness! These workouts are designed to be holy encounters that work out our faith too. A safe place for women to worship and foster better physical health. Join Michelle Engbrecht and Naomi Troyer in the Aux Gym from 7-8 PM.

Worship Choir

Besides singing on Sundays, the choir practices and presents a musical experience. This group is a true community where encouragement and accountability are found. No audition necessary.
