That’s probably the best word to describe what Easter is all about. The resurrection of Jesus from the dead is the foundation for life and the reason for today’s celebration. Our God is a God who makes dead things live again. He does it with… ...souls that are dead and gives them eternal life. ...bodies that are riddled with diseases and gives them healing. ...marriages that appear to be dead but through Him are freshly infused with divine love. ...relationships that are broken but now are fully restored. Yes, it is the nature of Jesus to take dead things and make them alive. What happened 2,000 years ago when He walked this earth are the very things that He still does today. Whatever has died in you can be made alive through Jesus. Our Easter celebration is more than bunnies or eggs; it’s a celebration of an empty tomb and the powerful transformation that comes with it. How about making it personal this year and allowing Him to take your dead things and make them new? Alive in Him!
