Why not let us do the cooking on Wednesday night? You are invited to join us for dinner between 5:15 and 6:15 p.m., in the Auxiliary Gym. Suggested donation of $3 for an individual; $10 for families of 4-5; and $12 for families of 6 or more.
Oasis Cafe for Women
Feeling that mid-week slump? Need a pick-me-up on Wednesdays? Come to Oasis Café where you can be refreshed by sweet fellowship with other women. Our evening consists of: coffee and a snack, a time of worship, a light Bible study followed by great discussion. Oasis Café is a great time to refuel your spirit in the middle of a busy week. This class is led by Dorie Clickovich and Dawn Ziegler in the Chapel from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
ESPMen exists to make fully committed disciples by encouraging, challenging and equipping men to live and lead courageously for Christ. Components of a typical evening include food, fun, laughter, music, fellowship at tables, prayer for one another in small groups and a challenge from God’s Word. This group meets in the YMC from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Verse-by-Verse Bible Study
A team of NMC Bible teachers will facilitate an ongoing Bible study track that will run through the rest of the year. Niel Diener will lead this session’s study in Colossians. Bring your Bible, iPad or pen & notepad. Join us in GH 222 from 7-8 p.m. as we explore the Word.
What Makes You Happy?
For many, happiness is measured in moments, experiences. It’s elusive, unsustainable. What about you? What makes you happy? Find out what happy people have in common and God’s design for your happiness. Join Pastor Justin in the Courtyard Commons from 7-8 p.m.
The Church Has Left the Building
This group provides opportunities to move out into area communities and encourage people. From pumping gas to visits in a long-term care facility to talking with strangers in the coffee house, providing tangible, physical help is our focus. We will meet in the Fireside room at 6:45 p.m. and then scatter to different locations. Join Pastor Don from 6:45-8:00 p.m.
Our Divorce Care program walks alongside those individuals who are experiencing the devastation and pain of divorce or separation. With Marsha Milliron and team in C 180-181, 6:45-8:00 p.m.
Each week we gather for a devotional thought and time of knitting together. With Jean Hornish in GH 224-225, 7:00-8:00 p.m.
This fitness program focuses on loving God and others through cutting edge fitness techniques. Come with good shoes, a water bottle, towel, and a mat (if you have one) and let’s move together in love! Join Michelle Engbrecht and Naomi Troyer in the Aux Gym 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Besides singing on Sundays, the choir practices and presents a seasonal musical. Rehearsal is not the only thing they do, however. There is lots of relationship building and spiritual accountability.
