HS Summer Camp

SM Calendar Group
Summer camp is an amazing time to get away, connect with each other, seek God and have a ton of fun! We head to Beulah Beach Camp in Vermillion, OH for five days and four nights. Your student can expect to experience time alone with God, worship and spiritual challenge. We also make a trip to Cedar Point, participate in group games and host a belly flop competition. This year’s theme is True. In a culture where truth is relative, how do you know what is absolute truth? Join us as we go back to the basics to uncover God’s never-changing truth and how we can stand on it.

Register your HS student here.

(Parents can expect an email 10 days prior to departure with a schedule, packing list, emergency contact number, etc.)

Frequently Asked Questions:

The cost for camp increases with each deadline. A 30% deposit is due at registration with payment plan options.

  • Early Deadline (April 23): $240
  • Regular Deadline (May 21): $250
  • Final Deadline (June 11): $270

What are we paying for?

The Summer Camp cost covers housing and facility rentals, meals, activities and various programming elements. PLEASE NOTE: HSM campers will need to bring money to cover 3 meals.

Which grade goes where?

Summer camp attendance is determined by the grade the student will be in for the 2016-2017 school year (9th-12th grade). A major goal of camp is to provide opportunity for the students who will be together in the coming year to begin their journey.

What is the spiritual value?

Summer camp may look like all fun and games but our emphasis on spiritually challenging students. EVERYTHING we do is planned to give students an opportunity to connect with the Living God. Students will be specifically encouraged and challenged in their faith through the following avenues:

  • PERSONAL TAWG (Time Alone With God): Every morning, students will take ample time to get into the Word, pray and enjoy God’s beautiful creation.
  • CELEBRATION TIMES: In the morning and night sessions, students will pull together for a time of worship, teaching and a challenge from God’s Word.
  • CABIN GROUPS: Each night, students will meet with the leader and students in their cabin for a time of sharing, prayer and accountability.
